Your bridal trial is a collaborative appointment devoted to creating your wedding-day look without the time or emotion of the wedding morning itself.

We’ll talk through your inspiration, preferences, skin needs, comfort level, and any details that hold personal or cultural significance. Together, we’ll explore the colors, textures, placement, and finishing touches that help you feel most like yourself.

Your trial follows the same thoughtful process as your wedding-day service, including personalized skin preparation, full makeup application, and individualized lashes. We’ll refine the look together so you leave feeling confident and excited about what we’ve created.

Bridal trials are strongly recommended, but never required. If you choose not to schedule one, we’ll discuss your vision carefully in advance and finalize your look together on your wedding day.

Bridal party makeup is personalized to each person’s features, preferences, and comfort while creating a beautifully cohesive feeling across the group.

These services are available for attendants, mothers of the bride and groom, junior attendants, flower girls, and other loved ones sharing in your wedding morning.

ATTENDANTS & MOTHERS

A complete makeup application for adult attendants, mothers of the bride and groom, and other adult loved ones.

Each look includes skin preparation and customized makeup designed to feel polished, comfortable, and appropriate for the individual’s preferences and role in the celebration.

Strip lashes may be added upon request.

JUNIOR ATTENDANTS

Age-appropriate makeup for younger members of the bridal party who would like a little more than a flower-girl service without receiving a full adult application.

The look is tailored to the individual’s age, comfort, and preferences. Lashes may be added with permission from a parent or guardian.

FLOWER GIRLS

A light, age-appropriate touch of makeup for younger flower girls who want to feel included in the getting-ready experience.

This may include a little complexion perfecting, blush, soft shimmer, lip color, or another simple finishing touch based on age and comfort.

The bride’s individualized lashes are included in her service. Strip lashes for attendants, mothers, and junior attendants are available as an optional add-on. Individual or cluster lashes are reserved for the bride’s customized service.

Your bridal makeup experience can extend beyond the wedding morning. Additional appointments are available for engagement portraits, rehearsal dinners, and the celebrations surrounding your wedding.

ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Camera-ready makeup tailored to your personal style, photography plans, and the atmosphere of your engagement session.

Your look can feel soft and natural, romantic and polished, or a little more expressive—while still feeling entirely like you.

REHEARSAL DINNER

Personalized makeup for your rehearsal dinner, welcome party, or another wedding-weekend celebration.

This can be designed as its own distinct look or coordinated with the overall beauty story you’re creating for your wedding.

THE AFTERGLOW EXPERIENCE

A playful day-to-night refresh or transformation for the bride who wants to carry a little extra magic into the next celebration.

Choose a polished refresh or explore more expressive details such as shimmer, glitter, rhinestones, or party-ready finishing touches.

BOOKING DETAILS

Peak Friday–Sunday wedding dates require the bride plus four additional makeup services or the applicable booking minimum.

Smaller weddings and elopements may be accepted Monday–Thursday on a case-by-case basis.

Twenty miles of travel are included. Additional travel, parking, tolls, valet fees, and any necessary overnight accommodations are quoted separately.

Your wedding date is officially reserved once your agreement is signed and the 50% retainer is received. The remaining balance is due one week before the wedding.

Once I’ve confirmed availability for your date, you’ll receive the Ethereal Beauty Bridal Welcome Guide with complete service details, travel information, and any fees relevant to your celebration.

  • Ethereal Beauty specializes in traditional makeup artistry and does not offer airbrush makeup. Traditional formulas allow me to customize coverage, finish, and texture while creating beautiful, long-wearing results for both real life and photography.

  • Bridal trials are strongly recommended, but never required. If you choose not to schedule one, we’ll discuss your vision carefully in advance and finalize your look together on your wedding day.

  • Trials are scheduled at Ethereal Beauty’s Studio and typically last 60–90 minutes. You’re welcome to attend alone or bring up to two guests.

  • Yes. Ethereal Beauty provides on-location wedding-day makeup throughout Charlottesville, Central Virginia, and beyond. Twenty miles of travel are included, with additional travel costs quoted based on the getting-ready location. Some distances or early start times may require overnight accommodations.
